Such services can be related to new buildings, conversions, dockings and/or other yard stays, and can range from planning, negotiation, execution, supervision, documentation, certification and commissioning. Fjord Shipping can also assist during the shipyard stay. The team of experienced superintendents holds expertise in all relevant categories as machinery, electro, steel and hull, paint, documentation etc.
Accounting
Fjord Shipping can provide full accounting services through our group company Fjord Services. Fjord Services is a certified public accounting company with 7 experienced accountants. We can offer services within payroll, accounting, tax and VAT. We also have expertise in the Norwegian tonnage tax regulations.
HSEQ Management
Fjord Shipping AS can provide HSEQ services for your vessel; this includes;
- DPA services
- CSO services
- ISM DOC Holder (Norway, Bahamas, Gibraltar, Malta, Faroe Island)
- ISM, ISPS and MLC audits.
- Preparations of Ship Specific Manuals
- Flag Specific requirements for USCG, PANAMA SOPEP
- Consultancy in HSEQ, ISM, ISPS, MLC

Building supervision
Fjord Shipping has experience in- and can offer Building Supervision both for New buildings and conversions. We can offer expertise and competence in all relevant categories as machinery, electro, steel and hull, paint, documentation etc. We have earned and gained experience and knowledge with most relevant yards worldwide through our many projects and dockings.
Financial Consulting
Fjord Shipping have extensive experience with purchase and sale of vessel, as well as financing of vessel acquisitions. Fjord Shipping can be a partner in such transactions.
Change of Flag and/or Class
Fjord Shipping is involved in Change of Flag and/or Change of Class on a regular basis. We have gained experience with most relevant European Flags (EU), NOR/NIS and Flag of Convenient. We also deal with all relevant Class societies which are IACS members.
Inspections and Audits
Fjord Shipping can offer and perform most Ship Inspections. Such Inspections can range from technical, purchase, conversion and as a part of preparation for dockings or yard stay.
Through our certified and experienced auditors, we can perform ISPS, ISM and MLC audits.
Lay up
Fjord Shipping have vast experience in- and can take full responsibility for laid up vessels. Such duties can include 24/7 supervision, ISPS security, maintenance, lubricating, preservation, running of engines and normal watch duties. The company have a close relationship and cooperation with “Måløy Havn”, but can take on layup duties wherever requested.
